Yes I do suffer from social anxiety! It's getting worse as I get older too (I'm 28 now). I have this terrible problem where when I can nervous about something I feel really sick to the point where I start retching and this happens when I have to go to appointments, like doctors appointments, dentist, hairdressers, anything like that. It's now happening when I go into work in the morning or just meeting up with an old friend for lunch. It is so embarrassing. Sometimes I can hardly talk cos I feel so sick!

I also get a really tight throat and tight chested. Which symptoms do you get?

I really know how you feel and I'm so sorry that you have to go through a similar thing to me.

If you want to keep in touch, let me know.

I thank God for the various helps for different conditions that plague us. Emotional and mental suffereings may also be relieved by spiritual tools. I have myself battled depression, fear, lonliness, anxiety over the years, and have found many times, when touching Jesus Christ in prayer and turning my mind from cruel influences, the darkness lifts and disappears.
The Holy Scriptures say, "The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything but in prayer and supplication, present your requests to God. And the Peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Finally, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report, or any thing praiseworthy, think on these things." (Philippians 4: 6-8)
Hopefully this suggestion will tremendously aid someone reading.

I have thought for a long time that I did, but I have made progress on my own through the years, so I think it may not be that extreme.
