First off , the proper way to feed a dog is one time a day , some people do this twice , the dog is suppose to eat all the food at the specific meal time , it is not healthy to leave a bowl out and let a dog nibble all day that leads to obesity and other health problems , if your dog does not want to eat when you feed him or her you take the food away until the next time , your dog will get the idea in no time and he will love you more for it because he has something to look forward to , also the key to this is that you do it at the same time each day . Then of course you will never have problem with birds.

Oh yes.. I have had the same problem.. There is NOTHING you can do about it if you continue to leave the bowl with food out where the crows or other birds can get it... They love the food. The ONLY way is to put the food IN the house when the dog is not out (which is bothersome) and the other way might be to keep the dish with food under a makeshift cover... back under... where the Crows might not want to go INTO...

I think you should put your bowl in your house while you go to the park that way the crows won't get it or you could siple empty the food bowl while your gone so if they do come they won't eat your dogs food or if you want to you could buy birds feed so you won't have to put the food inside or get your hands dirty while geting the food out of the bowl.

Just move the food bowl or empty the dish before you leave. The crows will eventually give up and resort to a new form of food.

Before you leave for the park, put his food bowl indoors. That will solve the concept of the crows coming while you are away and eating the food.

You can ask your vet about this, but I believe that ideally you are only supposed to give your dog enough food to eat during one feeding. The dog eats all you give him and there is nothing left over for the crows to eat.

buy a motion detetor, that makes noises and put it next to the bowl. then let your dog get use to it and hopefully it will scare the bird away. airports have a bird called that makes birds fly away at the airport. it is really annoying to listen to all day

So birds do that in every country! Can you put the food in something like a kennel so it's harder for the birds to get it?

Remember your dog also needs fresh water outside.
