Life after death is life without the weight! The body's weight. We return back to pure form. Our true essence, should it be called your spirit or your soul, or your God essence. We don't take anything else with us when we leave this dimension, but our essence. So what consitutes our essence? I would think what we focus on -- be it positive or negative emotions/characteristics. How we present ourselves in this lifetime; what we become. I would think that that sets us up for the level at which we arrive on the other side. And then perhaps, it is school there as well (life here is a school, consciously or unconsciously). So which level will we arrive at? That is up to us.

It's the "life" or living organisms that come into being after you die.
Eg:
You die => You Decompose into Dust/Dirt => Plants, and Bacterial organisms thrive from the dirt and particles of your body.
.: Therefore, life after death = the creatures that come about once you die.

Life after death is LIFE INDEED if you end up in heaven. Its also HELL INDEED if you end up in hell. I pray you experience LIFE after death. It is all about you accepting Jesus as Saviuor and Lord.

Its called the Afterlife - after your earthly being has stopped living, your soul lives on to experience the resurresction.
