I have been in love and that has ended but just trying to find out if I'm the only one with this problem.

yes they will eventually not pine for them on a daily basis and they will be able to function and not think about them all the time but with first loves....or anyone a woman ever loves for that matter, they will always have a special place in there heart for that person. it doesnt mean that there wont be any heart left for the next guy or the next or the next its just a matter of once there is true emotional attachment even if things go bad ultimatly, the woman will always have that random thought or feeling about them. same as an old friend.

It depends on who put the least amount of effort in the relationship, if it was meant to be and the reasons for the breakup. Mistreating a true person who really is your solemate and denying ones true feelings, can scar a person for ever. On the other hand, lot's of people make mistakes and just fool around with people they never meant to be with. In that case, live and learn. Just move on.

You will always remember your first love no matter how many other relationships you get involved your first love will always be in your heart. I have not forgotten my first love. I havent seened him in 15 years but inside my heart I know that I will always love him. No other men has lived up to his standards and no other men will ever do. But when you get involved in other relationships do not compare your first love with them because you will always be disappointed.

no one ever really gets over there FIRST TRUE LOVE, i was stuck on my first love for 3 years, there will always be a spot for him in my heart, still today i would do anything for that guy. but aventually you get used to living without him so you think that your "OVER" him.

Yup! As soon as you find that next dude who hits your g-spot and knocks the bottom out... You will forget all about your ex. I dated my ex for 9 years and had feelings for him for the next 8 years but then somebody smacked it, flipped it, rubbed it and I was like WOW!!! ole boy was no mas en mi cabeza.
