The only time I put butter on an american muffin is when I cook my own and they are still warm from the oven - I cut them in half, spread a little butter inside and let it melt right into the warm muffin. Mmmmm!

A moist Blueberry Muffin needs no Butter or Toasting. Only Muffins that are dry and stale need resuscitating. I suggest that you stick to Fresh Muffins. I like Morning Glory Muffins.

Well of COURSE I put butter on them! There is nothing better than the taste of freshly spread, cool butter on a warm muffin. Oh my.
Of course, it is best if it is a virgin muffin (warm because it just came straight out of the oven.) For those not-so-fresh muffins, a short stay in the toaster oven is a must to sufficiently warmify it and ready it for the butter application. Mmm-mmm-muffiny.

Only bran muffins. The butter seems to make bran muffins taste divine! I don't toast them, but I do heat them up a little.
Most fruit muffins are good just the way they are.

Depends on what you are talking about. Like baked muffins, no I don't toast them or put butter on them. But english muffins, yes, they go in the toaster and I butter them. (Used sugar and cinnamon as a kid, too! Yummy!)

I like english muffins and yes I do toast them, I like it with butter, or cream cheese, or jelly. I know your talking about regular muffins though, I guess you can have them however you want.

I nuke 'em and then, yes, I put butter on them if it's blueberry (the only kind I will eat). I don't eat muffins much though so I'm pretty sure that's accurate. UNLESS, it's a chocolate or chocolate chip muffin in which case I eat them plain.

Yes, I always toast the muffins, wouldn't eat it otherwise. I sometimes put the butter on first and toast it, or I toast it first then spread the butter.
