Don't you believe that God had a master plan when he created all this? Don't you believe that God knows what he is doing? Have faith, all that is ment to be will happen. All we need to to is trust him and get his word out there. He commanded you to take care of what he provided for us. We can't trump him but we can abey him. Read his instructions in the Bible and follow them carefully, that is all we need do, and instruct others to do. God will take care of you, if you will let him.

I do not believe that we as human beings can trump God, but theoretically we can at least slow down the process of global warming. It seems like the warming is caused by all kind of gas emissions. It is hard to believe that this is going to stop or reduce any time soon. Most of the people and even states haven't understood the phenomenon yet. What we can do is to plant and restore the globes forests that can sequester lots of carbon dioxide plus they have numerous other benefits. In the mean time the existing forests have to be managed in a sustainable manner. We also have to stop the huge operations of transforming forests in land for agriculture.

If you believe that it is in God's plan to have global warming, then no. Nothing can defy his plan, even the strongest of men.
If you believe that the cause is the noxious chemicals we have been dumping into the air and the water for the last two hundered years or so, then yes, we can. To reverse this we need to find replenishable resources for power that don't create mass amounts of pollution in their production, we need to make more products that create less waste in their production and can be easily recycled or reused multiple times before recycling or destruction, and we need to stop destroying the the natural ecosystems that keep our planet's climates in check. If we do all of this, we may have a chance.

Why do we need to trump God to reverse global warming? People cause pollution...when you make an issue sound like you have to be against God to be for the issue, then you alienate a lot of people. There is a large group of religious people who are environmentally conscious. It will take all of us to make a change, and we can't do that by dividing people based on personal belief.

Creation gave brains to all creatures. Thus the ability to learn from mistakes.
Tools are a way creatures have, in addition to their bodies, to change their environment. Humans have used their bodies and their tools to shape the environment in ways they think will better their circumstances.
Unfortunately, those who have been trying to trump Creation by thinking only of themselves have made messes for the rest of our world. Selfishness is the playground of destruction. Selfishness and the desire for personal profit cause one to ignore the consequences of destructive acts.
We are caretakers of the earth, and are in partnership with Creation to take what we need, and replenish what we use.
Let us suppose that adversity was created as a means of encouraging us to use our brains. We can see Global Warming as a challenge--a warning to come up with ways to remediate the harm we have caused, and find ways to give Creation a hand with the huge task of housekeeping for us all.
Ask yourself this: why would the brain have been created if it were not supposed to be used?

nature is not the cause for climate change, some people dont get it....if you sit in a closed garage with the doors closed and turn on your car, you will eventually be overtaken by the pollution the car emits, same as the earth, the earth is surounded by our atmosphere add all the nations of the world, all the polluting factories, all the automobile, ships, trains, airplanes, and anything that produces pollution and then you can begin to see the same affect, the air is cleaned by trees and unfortunately the water that we need to keep the planet alive.

Maybe it is not a matter of "trumping" God, and a matter of using his essence through us. Should we start with "thought"? It worked for Einstein, didn't it. Thought before matter . . . as the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know" suggests. We can do it, if we focus. Because what we focus on reportedly becomes reality/matter. So, yes, we can reverse global warming -- unless we are afraid of our own personal/spiritual power!

It wouldn't be trumping God by reversing global warming. If we were able to do so, it was simply meant to be.

It wasn't God who created Global warming. It was our doing. God had nothing to do with it. It will probally take as long if not longer to undo what we have done. But it can be done.

We as humans can change our behaviour to slow it down and perhaps even stop the environmental damage that results in global warming. Then it's up to Gaia to heal herself. She can, if we let her.
