Because people feel that they have to have someone to stereotype and make fun of... And the girls out there who try to live up to the "dumb" title really aren't helping us either. I agree that MOST of us are smart... But there are dumb people and smart people with every hair color... people who will grow up to be successful and others not. As a society we even out eventually.
