yes I think so.

Philosophically speaking: everything is related to cause and effect. As far back as Socrates, he discussed with his student that there must be an Ultimate Cause. So without going into 6,000 years of philosophy, it would seem there is good logic to the existence of God.

There was an answer listed to a different question that most religious reasons why there is a God/ afterlife are silly (paraphrasing). The only problem is that is exactly what another answer said about religious beliefs all over the world. What is amazing about all those religions, is not what is different, but how much is eerily similar. If there is no God, how could so many people, without contact with each other, come up with the same stuff? I do not think chaos theory can even touch that.

Below is an argument to think about. Basically, I want to say this if Christianity is a hoax, this is a really bad way to pull off a hoax. Most of the basics do not even seem possible.

FYI- This actually bolsters my faith, instead of tearing it down.

Additionally, take Christianity:
reality of life at that time:
1. women were lower than slaves in society
2. respect was with the wealthy and well-traveled
3. the respected only associated with their own

If one was going to create a religion, the following is NOT the way to do it!

A man is born of virgin (good trick!), who was rejected by the people in the town that he was raised. Jesus never had much money, and never traveled more than 30 miles from the town of his birth. He hung out regularly with the lowest of society. He was crucified between two thieves. Jesus was buried in a borrowed grave. Then according to the gospels the Roman Guards fell asleep during the resurrection, which was punishable by death. then two women were the first ones to the grave. just to add insult to injury, the only people that saw the resurrected Jesus were believers.

If man was going to make up a religion, and try to get the whole world to follow it, this is a pretty stupid way to do it.

Yes, He is my Lord and Savior. But will every tongue confess. I doubt it. I mean look what they have done to his name. Can't say his name or write his name God almost anywhere now. I wish people would leave things alone and just be the way they were. Beccause people now adays are very different than they were a few years back. Some are Good and some Bad.

That book that you use as your icon is not the Lord God, nor my savior----nor anyone elses. However, when Christ comes again, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that He Is Lord.

Jesus Christ showed us the level of our human depravity when he was falsely accused, unjustly charged, mercilessly beaten, and then murdered by all of us-----by all of our sins. While we were yet sinners----all of the world----Christ died so that we could live eternally without having to face the eternal consequences for our sins.

Christ's life and death are examples of how Christians were treated and will be treated. Our physical lives may be lost to cruelty, injustice, and verbal murder by the public, but we will die in the knowledge of eternal life with Christ Jesus.

Our bodies and all we have belong to God. He can do with them whatever He deems necessary to fulfill His purpose. But we remember---that all things work to the good for those who love God and are the called according to His purpose.

Christians have and will continue to be unjustly treated in this life; we will be laughed at, verbally assaulted, and sometimes martyred in the name of our faith. However, Christ showed us that even he was crucified by the world and its sins. Are we any more important than Christ?
