I'm going to get contacts. What should I expect to do at the exam?

well the doctor is probably going to make a regular check up on your eyes to make sure they are ok and everything, and then he/she determines the size of your contact depending on the size of your iris...so then you try on a pair and he checks to see if they are the correct fit (my doctor uses this machine thing that gets really close to your eye, im not sure what it does exactly) and then the doctor or something else teaches you how to take care of the contacts and put them into your eye...

I promise it won't hurt!, you will take an exam test and then they will dillate your eyes(put eye drops!) and then they will let you put contacts to see if u can put them in!, and they don't hurt they are just a little discomforting!!!
