Has anyone ever been truly converted by anything posted in Yahoo Answers?

I don't know.

I've learned more about what other's think and why they believe as they do. I've been challenged to think about and answer questions I hadn't considered. But my faith remains.

Converted? No, but I have read some very interesting questions and answers concerning everything from Religion to Car repairs.
Every once in awhile you will come across some very sincere answers that will touch your heart. There are a lot more compassionate people out there than we realize.
I don't think anyone has been converted, but I think a lot of people have had to stop and think ...:)

The only thing this place has acchieved is to cement my astonishment at the level of brain-washedness and ignorance and fanaticism of some people.
I haven't in any way been changed, quite the contrary, i have been convinced that what I thought is sadly ten times more true than I initially thought.
I've been converted from mildly distasted to disgusted, from a quiet resistance to a fight, from repulsed to vomiting.

Absolutely----without question! I am more grounded in my faith. I am more motivated to talk with teenagers who are more worried about having sex than they are getting into a good college. I am more inspired by those who do not allow the perversions of our nation to sway our views, faith, and beliefs in the truth---no matter how much the truth is painted, tainted, skewed, distorted, perverted, rationalized for selfishness' sake, or completely misrepresented.

Yes, Yahoo Answers has opened my eyes to so much more evidence that it is definitely time for God to thin the herd.

Converted? No, and never. I have, however, been truly convinced that there is an amazing number of people in the world who are pretty stupid and have no command of the English language...

I have more self confidence since posting my picture. I realise that my low self esteem isn't really like a religion but it has held me down for my entire life...so maybe. Best wishes

on a personal level, i cannot say that i have. but i think that this is just a good forum to inform people about certain topics. If anything, it can be an eyeopener
