There are lots of short cuts I could give you, here are a few to start you off........(hope this helps!)
1.
ALT+TABIf you have two more programs open at the same time pressing Alt and Tab at the same time will let you switch between programs.
Open two programs – Paint and your word processor, (Microsoft word) or whatever is on your computer. Press Alt and tab
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2.
Ctrl+ZPressing Ctrl and Z at the same time will undo what you have just done in a program.
Draw a happy face in paint and then lets try Ctrl and Z.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
3.
Ctrl+XPressing Ctrl+X will cut any text you have selected.
In your word processor type one paragraph on bullying, we will use this later for our slideshow.
Highlight the first line when you are finished and we will use Ctrl + X. After we are finished we click on edit and undo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
4.
Ctrl+CPressing Ctrl+C will copy any text you have selected.
Ctrl+VPressing Ctrl+V will paste anything whatever you have just cut or copied.
Highlight the paragraph now and press CTRL + C which will copy the paragraph, press the enter button to go down a few lines and then press Ctrl + V to paste, edit and undo then as before.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
5.
Ctrl+BPressing Ctrl+B will change any text you have selected to bold type.
Highlight your paragraph again and press Ctrl + B.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
6.
Ctrl+UPressing Ctrl+U will underline any text you have selected.
Highlight our paragraph and press Ctrl. + U
------------------------------------------------------------------------
7.
Ctrl+IPressing Ctrl+I will change the selected text to italics.
As before highlight our paragraph and press Ctrl + I
---------------------------------------------------------------------
8.
Ctrl+SPressing Ctrl+S will save the document you are currently working on.
9.
Ctrl+APressing Ctrl+A will select all the text in the document or inside the window.
Press Ctrl + A, Click on a blank place on the screen to deselect.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10.
Ctrl+PPressing Ctrl+P will print the document you are working on.
And lastly did you know if you type :) and then press enter you will get a happy face in microsoft word too, try typing :( for sad face, but I'm hoping all this will only bring on a smile....

The above ctrl-<> keys are good, but watch out for paste, it is ctrl-v, not ctrl-p (that will print).
