I am speachless..if there are such pastors they must be punished severely first here, then they will have ample time in confessing their sins in the Purgatory and their souls will be in Hell..

Wanda, it is nice you are concerned about such things. Once you make such a discovery, expect the church leadership to institute disciplinary measures against the pastor. If they condone it, then leave that church and report its activities to law enforcers. If the police say prostitution is legal in your nation then just know that pastor and its leadership would still not go unpunished for their sins.
As for God not existing, how can you make such a discovery?
There are arguments on whether the 10% teaching is a Chritsian teaching or a Judaism teaching. So not all Chritians practise it. But they all practise giving.
Many great men today such as professor Steven Hawking, make repeated reference to God in his book a "brief history of time". Albert Einstein also believed in God.
I am a science person myself.
I have serious misgivings about the big bang. Upon discovery of gravity, Isaac Newton concluded the universe must be infinite for the cosmic bodies not to attract each other and form one big body. The infinite argument would mean that the gravitational forces from different directions are in balance.
From the observations of Hubble, we came to conclude that the universe is expanding. The main reason for this is observed red shift. An expanding universe should only have started from a singularity. However, every singularity has an event horizon. This is a sphere beyond which any matter travelling "upwards" from the centre of the body even at the speed of light would be pulled back.
The universe starting from one point would mean the greatest intensity of gravity possible. Our current universe would not have escaped such gravity no matter how big the bang.
Secondly how did life on earth start from dead matter? Aren’t dead materials more stable than live ones? Isn’t this against the law of entropy?

I wonder how you "discover" God doesn't exist. Its not like realizing your pet hamster Fred is really a female, or some other thing you can see. I mean, you have never really known God existed in the first place, so you can't really know hes not there not right??
As for the money, it sux, but in the future, if you give 10% of your money away, make sure the church (or charity or whatever) has some system of accountability so these things cant happen... Hard lesson learned is the only thing to say..

I would say that you never studied your Bible. God don't need your money. The only reason why you should give is to get the gospel but since you don't believe there is a God why would want to get the gospel out. You need to trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins. He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. We are not under the law today so why would you think you had to give 10%. 2 Corinthians 9: 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Your "what if's" about God's non existence are useless. You cant prove there is not a God - and your assumption leads people into a dangerous position.
As for a pastor misusing God's money and not spending it on church expenses (he may use some for an income) and helping others - then he will answer to God. No human lives forever and Judgment is assured.

If the preacher steals the money that has nothing to do with me and God. God knows when I am doing what I am suppose to be doing. Also, there is no way that after a lifetime of praying would I be disappointed in finding out that God is not real. I have had to much proof while I have been alive to even be concerned with that.

I do not tithe at churches, I am a attende un-baptized JW & any money I do give (or you call tithe)I know its going to help build more kingdom halls (or you call churches) help with the publishing of the studyaide books & bibles (which we recive for free) help with electric or any other orginization toward Jehovah to help. So otherwise I donot agree with the mega churches the way they spend their money, & Pastors having expensive cars, but what they do in their churches is between them & their treasury. When I did go to a Southern baptsit church I wondered what happened to the money afterwards when they said they are trying to expany the Sunday school classes & need money, well if they budget it correctly they should have had it!

are you some one just trying to stir up trouble or have you been a believer in one of the evangilist who did rip people off? Unfortantely in all good things there a going to be bad eggs. That doesa not mean that all churches are bad or all television evangelists arre bad. Like anything and everything elsr in the world there is the good and the bad and you have to sort it out. I know that all offerings in my church help people in our community first and then many missionaries in India and Paupa New Guinia and many other places. I thelps young people become misionaries and young peolp to finish school. The money also helps people to pay their utility bills or deposits or buy food or clothes. The church body also helps people to replace their roofs or build a house or other dwelling. This church body is ther for all who need and all who belive. I pray you find a good church and find the Love of the Lord.

Yes, but we all know that NO church would run at all if it weren't for tithes. What the pastor does with his income is a different story, but that is not all of my tithes and offerings. And I don't think anyone is going to be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there isn't a God so I don't think anyone could tell me that I'm wasting my time.

well if this happened in your church then i am really sorry for you and everyone else. i think its wrong for a pastor to take money from church and use it for his plessures.
i go to church and i still believe in God. no one will tak that belief away from me. and i give donations once in a while. i dont think about where the money goes. that part doesnt matter. what matters is that i donated and gave to the church in the name of Jesus. so Jesus knows that i gave and that i care and have a heart. so whatever the pastor does to that money is his problem and even if i found out that he would do something bad, i would be upset a little bit, since i am human, but then id forgive and forget and i would pray for him to lead a better life.
life is not wasted when you have Jesus in your heart.
god bless

What is wrong with you?! Why would you even ask this question. A pastor like that would be ejected from the parish, and why did you have to imply there was no god in your sick joke? You are the reason why people don't go to church. You need to go to church and talk to your pastor. Don't go slandering a church or religion you predjudice pig.
