Judaism encourages modesty of dress but this is highly variable depending on the community -- some would have no woman wearing pants, some would allow pants cut for a woman, some would want skirts down to the calfs, others, below the knee etc.
Men must wear fringed undergarments and head covering and should also dress modestly and with a sense of respect.

As unpopular as this reaction will make me i'm nonetheless going to assert that I accept as true with you. i imagine that about better than merely jobs with dress codes besides the undeniable fact that. Any status dress code could could be upheld by utilizing all participants who plan to make that area position area of their lives. I say that because of an concern we had right here in Canada. contained in the Royal Canadian Legion, that's an section which will pay homage to conflict veterans, it really is code to no longer positioned on any type of head coverings, yet that became fought adverse to by utilizing participants of the Sikh faith who wanted to be able to positioned on their turbans contained in the Legions with the aid of their faith. i became adverse to it from the initiating as were many human beings I knew, yet freedom of religion reigned and they get to. Upsets me nonetheless. )O(

My "religion" Chrisianity, wants women to dress modest & do not look like men nor wear what men wear. They want men NOT to have long hair & women not to cut their hair. We shouldn't adorn ourselves with jewerly, otherwise go overboard, but keep modest.
I follow this, but donot look like my Menonnite friends or their Amish family. I look nice, but modest. If I wear shorts I make sure it is to the knees, skirts too, go to the knees or ankles.
I show respect to jehovah & know I shouldn't make others stumble.

yes practising jews should do the following
both genders should respect (cover) their bodies from neck to elbows and knees
men should wear a headcovering as respect to the one above
women cover their hair once married (most men will agree that a womans hair can be sexy) as respect for the marriage
chasidim and others will also wear socks as the lower leg can definately be considered hot

I am LDS, and we believe to dress modestly. to cover our bodies so that we can recieve the respect that we deserve, we can wear jewlry and we don't have to have a certain length to our hair.
• Dressing modestly is important because those around us judge us by how we appear.
• What you wear tells others who you are.
• What you wear shows your respect (or disrespect) for places you go and people you’re with.
• What you wear reflects how committed you are to following the Savior. If you ignore how He’s asked you to dress, you’re saying, “The Lord isn’t important to me.”
• The Lord has provided some appropriate dress and grooming standards in For the Strength of Youth.
It’s true that we should never look down on people because of the way they look or dress. That’s prideful. It’s also condemned by the Lord (see James 2:1–9).
But in everyday life, we often “judge” or form opinions about people by their outward appearance without necessarily looking down on them. What you put on your body “talks.” And everyone who sees you “hears” what you’re saying.
Some hairstyles shout, “Look at me!” Tight or revealing clothing begs, “I want you to like me for my body, but who I am doesn’t matter.” Modest clothing testifies, “I respect myself, I respect those around me, and I respect the Lord and His prophets.”

I'm Pagan and we have no dress code. In fact it is quite acceptable to do rituals without clothing although this is optional.

Spiritualists welcome all to their services. Guidelines and bylaws exist for the workers in the field. If you are presenting yourself as an example of your religion, dress can show your respect for what you are demonstrating.

I am Church of God. We say dress comfortably. Women can wear pants in our church without being frowned on.
We ask to dress modestly. (Don't show your boobs or butt)
Men don't wear hats in church. Women can but it's their choice.
Jewelry is a choice.
