and now they are telling me its "jesus's way" or I go to hell.

So its not even that they are telling me its their way, but "jesus's way".

The idea that anyone goes to hell is so absurd. God is love why would God punish anyone.

We have a lot of historical evidence outside of the Bible that supports that Bible is accurate and reliable.

Clement of Rome (C.A.D95) uses scripture as reliable and authentic sourse.

Ignatus (A.D. 70-110) This bishop of Antioch was martyred for his faith in Christ. Heknew all the apostles and was a disciple of Polycarp, who was disciple of the apostle John. Polycarp's death demonstrated his trust in the accuracy of the Scriptures.

Elgin Moyer in "Who was who in church history" writes that Ignatus " himslef said, I would rather die for Christ than rule the whole earth. Leave me to the beasts that I may by them to be a partaker of God. He is said to be thrown to the wild beasts in the colosseum at Rome. His Epistles were written during his journey from Antioch to his martydom.

Ignatus gave credence to the Scripture by the way he based his faith on the accuracy of th Bible. He had an ample material and witnesses to support the trustworthiness of the Scriptures.

Tatian (C.A.D. 170) organized the Scriptures in order to put them in the first "harmony of the Gospels", the Diatessaron.

Tacitus
The first-century Roman Tacitus is considered one of the more accurate of the anchient world, he gives the account of the great fire of Rome, for which some blamed the Nero.
For "mischievous superstition,to which Tacitus refers is most likely the resurreciton of Jesus. The same is true for one of therefenences of Suetionius.

Suetonius was was chief secretary to Emperor Hardian. He confirms the report in Acts 18:2 that Claudius commanded all Jews ( among them Pricilla and Aquila ) to live Rome in A.D. 49.

You have a spirit of one who wants to stir up things. You are given a free gift of eternal life. It is free but it is not cheap, Jesus gave His life for you, so you do not have to be separated from Him after you die. Repent, and take His offer. But you do not have to because He gave you free will. I can see from your Q's and A's how you use your free will. You do not have any credits on your account...you are not qualified to call Bible a fairy tale. But it does not matter. God is God no matter what is your opinion. As we have many options here on the earth, what comes to eternity, there is only two choices: hell or heaven...what is your pick?

no one can make you believe what is written. the only reason I chose to countinue following the bible & believing besides faith & raised in church is because I see histroical evidence linknig events in the bible to what they find today, but i overall have faith.
As for you if you want to believe then it will happen ,otherwise it won't. Harry potter might seem good on the outside & teaching kids to get along ,etc.. but it still deals with witchcraft & if you follow the bible it is against our God because he is against witchcraft/sorcery, so I'd stay away from anything dealing with witches,wizards...

You should try to check out a bunch of differant religions, and see which one you think is best. I believe, and God is love. He will be there for you if you believe. It is not a cult and it is not bad. We live our lives the nice way, and so did Jesus and that is why we follow him. He is also Gods son. You can believe whatever you want, but please look into this and dont bad mouth the bible.

Believing in the bible makes you smart because you believe that a book with dragons, unicorns and giants is the sacred word of a god that you can't see.
Doesn't that make sense?

It’s up to you on what you think and what you read. If you think the Bible is fiction then so be it. Why then are you here ? Good luck with that other book I hop you find what your looking for in it.
