Any drug can make you feel however you want. But just remember, drugs are not fixing the problem, only hiding it till later. So don't think the drugs are a cure all, once the drugs are gone the same feelings are back. Never depend on drugs to make you happy, depend on yourself and others that love you.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the temporary use of a anti-depressent to get you through a particularly dark time in your life. I used prozac for about 4-5 months after I left my partying days of drugs and drinking which meant ditching all my "friends". I had my husband and God and that was it for a while so I felt miserable because sometimes I just wanted to go get a drink. The Prozac help me to stay focused on getting better and ultimately make me as myself without the dark feelings. I was able to get new, meaningful relationships and mend my brain to get back in order. And get a new job and succeed. It's been a year since then and I feel great. Just don't get dependant. Just because it's not a designer prescirption, like Xanax, doesn't mean it's the best for you. Your doctor will start you on a low dose to see the effects. Good luck and just realize you are not alone. There are so many others out there that are sharing your pain even right now.

Drugs are only a temporary excuse not to deal with reality. Some will make you forget whatever is bothering you, but all drugs wear off and then you are left with the same situation you wanted to get away from in the first place.
The best way not to feel lonely is to talk to anyone.

Regardless what drug you use,it will only make it worse. The only way to avoid loneliness is to not be alone. If you can not find someone, there are a lot of Friends in cages, called pets that would really like to be your friend. Regardless of your race, size or problem.

SSRI anti-depressants work, but you need to see a psychiatrist to get them prescribed. It would be better to see someone and determine if you really need to be on medication, or if just talking things through with someone in a therapy/counselling setting might be enough to lift you out of your low.

Love is drug enough. I don't care if nobody loves you. You have to love you enough to make up for the idiots hat don't care anything for you.
