Are their other ways to use natural methods to help us become more integral with our environment? How could we make these affordable?

Can anyone think of other natural methods besides wind, solar, and water?

I think we need to start harnessing people power as well. Get rid of all the fancy electronic monitoring gizmos on exercise equipment and we could start using those as miniature generators too! (I have a PDF file of somebody's college-level senior project where they turned a mountain bike into a generator, so it's relatively easy to do.)

I don't think it's too ridiculous to think that eventually many businesses will mandate exercise time for their employees as a means of keeping down health care costs, so this would be a great little one-two punch.

There's windmills, but they're inefficient and create their own unique weather patterns.

I've got a great one, but I'm not telling unless I get paid BIG time.
