Not really a question...
My motto:
If you dont' stand behind our troops,
feel free to stand in front of them.

My utmost thanks and respect to the men and women in the military both here and abroad. I may not agree with the reasons for our being over there, just as i didn't many moons ago when I was a young Marine of 19. However, you are upholding your values and doing what you've been trained to do but hoped never would come about. You do this with unflinching pride and bravery.
I sincerely wish you a safe tour and want to see you home with your families. I also would like to see your posts filled after your tour with the morons who are too cowardly to join but have no problem slamming the military. Especially those who post their half-baked opinion on Yahoo. Like that twit above me...Mad Colin. get back to the gas pumps idiot and do your job...a car just drove up!
Of course these are the same people who during my tour in another time and place were placed at the head of the column. They were expendable. If a draft is ever institued these people would be running for cover. Not for long though.
Be safe...come home proud and thank you for being there for us.

Thank you, young ladies and gentlemen, for defending our country with your lives. I hope you all get home safely soon.
You are the reason we can call ourselves the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Extra love to all the squids out there from a former bubblehead.

thank you so much! this is a great idea and I hope those soldiers with internet access (if they have that) will find thier way to this site. I don't think any of us understand what they are going through, and I don't think any of them understand how truly grateful we are
