I've heard something about sticking a metal spoon in ice for a few minutes and putting it on the hickie for a few minutes and just repeating it a few times... don't know how effective it is though, never tried it.

Actually, you should stop covering them up. Let them be fully visible to anyone and everyone. Once you feel the true humiliation of allowing such a ridiculously stupid activity to occur to your person you will stop getting them, and THEN you will never have to worry about them again.

Try using an ice pack. Yes, I know that it will be cold, however the cold seems to allow the hicky to fade faster.

try sticking a spoon in the freezer for a few minutes... or treat it like you would a bruise, because essentially, that's what a hicky is, a bruise...

Why not eliminate this insulting behavior in the first place? Any lover who would visibly mark their partner is not loving in their best interest. Stew

alternate ice & heat on the spot for about half an hour (5 minutes each) and use arnica cream (healthfood stores)

A hickey is a bruise, so I am pretty sure you can't get rid of that classy mark.

Makeup, turtleneck shirt or a scarf is all I know. I have never been able to get rid of one, so I just hide it! : )
