the woman who wrote said 3 tablespoons is not enough of cereal but to my son, it is. If i give him anymore he ill not eat it. and believe me, he does not control me...sometimes he cries for his nap when he is in the crib and i just let him cry it out before he passes out

EVERY baby is different. My baby is 5 months and she still eats 5-6 ounces every 3-4 hours. I give her cereal in the evening about 2 table spoons. I have slowly introduced her to baby food. Last night she almost ate a half jar of bananna's...I was impressed. Sometimes she doesn't want either and just the bottle! Do as you feel you need to!

My five month old's schedule for feeding is off again, on again.. depending on the day.
when he wakes up I feed him babyfood (#2fruit mix with cereal mixed) he eats about a half a jar, then I offer the formula in a bottle.
When he is hungry between meals I offer his bottle of formula.
Lunch time babyfood #2 ( different kinds - chicken/broccli, turkey/veggies etc.. with cereal mixed in it.) then I offer his bottle afterwards.
after lunch I have nap time for both kids so we just cuddle or I put the baby on the floor or in pack n play and sleeps for a couple of hours.( doesn't always work the way I would like)
snack ( fruit mixed with cereal )
Dinner ( sometimes same as lunch because after you open the baby food they say it is good for three days from the opening date, sometimes I mix it up a bit and open another jar so he gets variety) and a bottle with formula after he has had his full of the food .
I let my baby tell me when he is done with it sometimes only a few bites and sometimes a half a jar. I always make sure that the babyfood isn't super chunky but not watery either. I always offer eight oz of formula.
bedtime is around nine or ten just so he sleeps threw the night, which lately isn't working because of the teething....and sometimes the older one right when I get the baby to sleep wakes up because of the older one....When ones is up the other is usually down and same the other way. The joys of getting two on the same schedule is fun. let me tell you. (smiles)
Keep in mind that each baby is different and just do what works for you.
congrats on your new addition to your family.

Your baby is controlling you. First of all, he doesn't need 3 tablespoons of cereal because that is barely any food at all. Just because he is crying or fussy does not mean he's hungry. An 8 ounce bottle is plenty for him until you give him the baby food. And second of all (to answer your previous question), your kid is whiney because he is spoiled because it sounds to me like you tend to his every need even when he needs nothing at all.

use packs of instant oatmeal. i started feeding it to my kids at like 4 months and they were perfectly content before a nap or bedtime.

That sounds about right to me. If he is gaining weight and the docs are happy then everything is fine.
