What do couples usually do on the weekend with a young baby?? me and my man go out to dinner and then go to an after 9pm movie as my 5 month old son will sleep right though it. we are seeing superman this weekend

5 months old and your baby sleeps through movies? You are one lucky lady.
Most weekends are spent at home in the evening. We did decide that having a child will not mean we cannot go out though. Our lives really are pretty much the same. Just no more camping.

As a working mother, I spend the majority of my weekends with my children. My husband and I do go out occasionally (once a month or so, just to keep our sanity!) and we leave our boys with my mom. We usually end up leaving after they've gone to bed, so we're not missing any time spent with them. On the weekends, we always (weather permitting) take the boys to the park, shopping, etc.
I figure I have the rest of my adult life (after my chilren are grown, or at least old enough to stay home alone) to go out. :)

Alot of couples go to the park and have picnics, thats nice. And movies are good as long as the baby sleeps. Can I ask you a ?... if the baby is sleeping through the movies, then why go see something so kidish, go see a movie that ya'll want to see.

We usually kinda do the same thing, except my 5 mo old gets grumpy around 9, so we try and have her in bed by then. But she is good during dinner, providing that she has already eaten.

That sounds good to me! Sounds like it works out well for you. We used to be able to go to the mall, because my daughter would just ride in the stroller (in her infant carrier) and look around at everything. Never complained, even when it was time for a bottle!

Go to dinner, go visit friends or have friends over, wait for baby to go to sleep and have wild passionate sex......

we did things like that as well. or when our babies were new, we would just watch them, they are so beautiful and innocent when they are asleep
lol i know have a 9yr old and 4yr old, they are really really sweet when are asleep ; )
