My friend. You choose any religion you like. I have no problem.
the Word of God has not changed since the Beginning. If man has changed anything, that's on that man, not me.
Have a Good week.

When my priest came back from Papua New Guiny after 30 years serving there. He said that even though he taught the Christian Faith, he let them keep some of their cultural practices. You cannot take away people's culture. When Constantine became a Christian, let the people of Rome keep their festivals but instead of being about other Gods, he made them Christian Holidays.
Though God does not change, people are different all over the world. The Christian beliefs remain the same. The Mass said in Japan, the U.S. and everywhere else will be the same Mass said in Rome. Paul says that we all need to be on the same sheet of music. The Catholic Faith has been around for 2000 years now.

You must first understand that religion is basically a set of beliefs. If you look up the word belief; it is something that you think is real. Therefore when you say you believe; you are
actually stating that you are unsure of what you believe in; you only think it to be true.
If you are like me and take the Bible as being the truth; it is no longer a religion or belief; it
is a reality, it is our history. Belief is for those starting out in the faith; because they are
still unsure of what they are hearing and reading. Those who have been walking with God
for sometime should no longer believe in God; they should known God. Study the bible and ask Him for answers get to know God don't just believe in Him.

Belief cannot be impure. You don't have to follow other christians, thats part of what's wrong with christianity today, we're following denominations instread of His word. It's not about denominations, the first christians were not catholic, protestant, etc., the first christians were simply christian. That's the way it should be. So it doesn't matter if your church or group believes differently than you, its what "you" believe that's important, and how you worship.
The bible has been translated into so many different languages, there's bound to be some differences, but I think the message comes thru loud and clear, regardless of the language its written in. Does your bible tell you that Jesus died to save us from our sins? Does your bible tell you to love your neighbors? Does it tell you to love your enemies? Mine does and I bet yours does too. God bless you.

I think if you are in need of answers that you should pray and ask God to direct you in the right path. It's not for me to keep you from taking another belief, its your choice. In every religion (I have studied the origins of Islam, Hinduism Judaism and Christianity) what started out as a good thing got twisted into unfair (and in some dangerous) down the line. You need to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling" Philippians 2:12. God loves you deeply and cares about your concerns, speak to Him, He will answer you.

Your syntax is a bit difficult to follow but I think that God says his word does not come back void and alot of people slap the name "christian" on the outside but that isn't what is on the inside. The bible is the best place to go to see who is a christian Phil 4:8 Galations 5;22-23.

Probably not. If you want to see some "interesting" forms of Christianity, visit some churches in the middle east like Lebanon. Their form of Christianity is quite a bit different than what we practice as Protestants and Catholics.
It has been that way since Jesus died.

I like to think of myself as a Christian not a religian.... Religions come and go but Christ seems to endure....thank goodness. I pursue the spirit by opening my heart and listening to what he has to say to me. I keep Sunday holy by doing many different things. Sometimes its church. Sometimes its rest and loving time with my family. I try to ask myself would God/Jesus/ Holy Spirit be proud of what I am doing? If the answer is yes I think I'm pretty safe. I do enjoy listening to what religious people have to say. I draw strength from thier knowledge. But when they start with thier "musts" it feels bad in my gut. I like the bible, I shoot for obedience of the commandments knowing I won't do them perfect and I try to love myself and others. Seems to work.

The Old Testament is written in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek.
I am not sure of what you are referring to but I would not trust anything that comes out of China. They don't seem to like Christians that much.

This world is based on all kinds of beliefs and all of this started with Henry 8th because he didn't like what it was saying so he began to make up his own religion. What is your Belief?
