I think it depends on the individual - if you have beautiful sin and a perfect shaped face, I'd say - DON'T get a fringe, no matter what the fashion.
I've heard it said that men prefer the no fringe look. It is classic. If you have a beautiful forehead - don't hide it!
However, if you have a very long shaped face, a fringe will balance it. Also, as you get older, a fringe can be very flattering.
Also the type of hair needs to be taken into account. Thick black shiney hair looks great with a fringe - a lot of Chinese and Japanese girls have this look and it really works for them.
So it all depends.

Depends on the shape of the face. A long face with long hair isn't flattering (I've got one). A fringe flatters the long face better, but layers around the face work just as well.
For round or heart shaped faces without a fringe looks terrific. Is also easier; fringes can go horribly wrong in the wrong hands, so without is safer.

I think that it depends on your facial structure and the shape of your face. I have a heart shaped face and have always had long hair. Then I decided to cut it with a fringe and it looked good for a day or so and then it just started to piss me off. It takes forever to grow out. I thought ot was a nightmare. But some people will disagree. Good luck if you are thinking of cutting it.

Get a swept to the side fringe with layers round your face-it looks really nice when you put your hair up, it isn't too severe like some blunt fringes and you can clip it out of the way if it pisses you off! (think reese witherspoon!)

I would say it depends on your facial feautures if you have a big forehead then you would suit a fringe but a compromise is a side swept fring which when is down look really nicebut they are generally quite long therefore easy to tie back

I think it depends on the face and fashion. Not everybody looks good with fringe.

no definitely do not cut it! i think you will regret! any of my friends who have got fringes cut have regretted it and they take ages to grow out. what about shortening your front layers and having a sort of sweeping fringe that can be styled in various ways?? that would be nice! a fringe is a HUGE step as you'll be stuck with it for AGES!! good luck with whatever you decide anyway!

I think it depends on the shape of your head.
Most women need a fringe, but some are naturally pretty enough to get away without.

depends on the face. Some people need fringe, like if they don't have the best hairline, or because of the shape of their face. Need more info.
