Wow - that's alot of philosophy for 10AM.
What makes me happy? The thing that makes me happiest is buying sh!t I don't need. I don't know why - I'm a guy after all and it's usually the women that like shopping.
Sky-diving - reaching terminal velocity and being at peace, flying through the air like superman, for thirty-seconds I can be at peace.
ATVing/Snow-Mobiling - Zipping through a winter forest with the loud engine blaring, the high, the speed, the calm, the total enjoyment, and all my thoughts are quiet.
Hang-Gliding - Holy-crap is THAT fun! Take a few steps, push off and fly away, if even for a moment, and everyone around you, even the much better pilots envy you because they're not in the air at that moment.
And of course, persuing a hot girl, and getting her hot for you. Nothing is better than that.
Being at peace with God - nothing is more comfortable.
As to the second part, three out of four grandparents ARE dead, one a few days ago and another will be soon, my best friend DID die, and there were periods in my life where knowing it would all end in six months would have been a relief - NOW is not one of those periods. How would I FEEL? - Like sh!t - whadaya think?

Why think of these negative things? Life and every day of it is a blessing from God. Why not turn this aorund to ask:
How would you feel if:
A) some1 came up to you and told ya your moms going to be alive for quite some time?
B) you got a call saying your bestfriend is going to be alive for quite some time?
C) you have a gift of six months
D) all of the above
which one would you choose?

Lots of things make me happy, my granddaughter, children, family, friends, animals and the simple no stress life I lead now. Being an optimist instead of a pessimist makes me happy.the second part of your question is kinda creepy, but I will say that I have had my husband and my son pass away and sure, there is a significant morning period and I think about them every day, but I have to maintain a good frame of mind for the other important people in my life and myself.

There's an interesting question. . .do you believe in happiness.
Happiness is a feeling based on circumstances. I believe more in Joy. Joy is being 'happy' in spite of circumstances. Joy is accepting your mother's death and having peace, knowing you and she loved each other and showed it. Joy is living each day to the fullest when you only have a few months left and are in pain. Joy comes from Jesus. Joy (and this comes from my personal experience) is what you feel when you have $2.00, no gas, little food, and the house payment is due. . .and you just KNOW God will take care of it. . .and He does!
What makes me happy is knowing I have God no matter what. Nothing can really rock my world that He isn't in control of, and I know I'm safe and secure.

I believe Happiness is the result of Love. Yes, I believe in Love.
If I had to pick, I'd first ask my mom and dad if they felt like they wanted to go ahead and go into their next experience in life, then I'd ask my husband, he's my bestfriend, then I'd choose accordingly.
If they all said no, I'd choose C.
Then again, I'd probably ignore the whole thing and my positive thoughts may counteract the demon who's trying to get me to choose.

My beliefs and my family and loved ones make me happy.
But, to answer your next question, I think I would pick C. You have six months left of life, because I'm comfortable with the thought of dying. It doesn't scare me anymore.
If my mother or friend died, of course I'd be upset, but I'd also be happy that they are in a better place. :o)

I make my own happiness. My closeness with my family everything I have that's something I do something I value. If I had my choice it would be 6 months to live, I would live it to the fullest. I would never wish death upon anyone else even if it is just a question.

I am only truly happy when everyone around me is happy. I have always told my loved ones that I would rather die first then to be here for their death. I just can't cope with death. It took me a while to get over my grandfather passing away and it still gets to me when I think about it.

Family, friends make me happy; but, ultimately, I'm responsible for my own happiness. If you're asking me to kill off my mom, my best friend or myself, I'd choose myself. Only because I could not possibly even pretend wish away either of them.
