This really depends on the age and sex of the children. I would try to do a general theme that involves more than one character so that the kids can be individuals. For example if they are all girls, you can have a princess party with them each being a different princess or all boys can have a race car party with each being a different number and color or for boys and girls themes like Toy Story or Scooby Doo that have both girl and boy main characters. Just try to remember that even though they all share the same birthday they are all different from each other (and not mention if they are infants each being a different character or wearing a separate color will help the guests). Hope this helps.

Since you are in this section, I assume your qauds are pre-K? You could try to take them to see "Cars" and then use that theme? It is gender neutral. I have to say that I have two sets of twins (it gets easier, that should be your mantra) and I would get out of the house where they do everything for you. Whatever you can afford, either a Chuck-e-cheese, a Pump-it-up party, a party at your local gymnastics facility or even a BBQ at the local park. Too much in your house just adds to the stress level. These places do the clean up for you so you can just go home and have a beer. Good luck to you!

A jungle party, u can incorporate all their favorite animals and colors. If all girls a princess party. If all boys a cowboy or super hero party. If boys and girls a mid evil party with knights, and princesses. Mom and dad could be king and queen, Maybe an under sea party with fish and dolphins, sharks, and other sea creatures....How old are they??? Decor makes the party there are plenty of inexpensive ways to decorate. You don't have to spend a lot to have fun.

I wish I knew how old they were! My daughter's 7th birthday, this May, we had a Carnival. I made games; ring toss, balloon darts, pick up ducks, bean bag toss, tin can alley, ect. I also rented a bounce house. We had helium balloons everywhere. I painted refrigerator boxes to look like concession stands, and ticket booths. The kids loved it, and it really didn't cost too much. We served our guests hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and cotton candy. I had a large cooler full of juice boxes and soft drinks. We just used red, blue, yellow and green plates, napkins, and table cloths.

I'd say this was one of my favorite birthday parties,...so far!!!

Are they old enough to suggest a theme? If so, let them be part of the planning. It will be a great exercise in compromising and listening to other´s desires. You set the guidelines such as budget and date, but if you can, let the fun begin for them with the planning. If they are too young for that, keep it simple, a general theme and maybe just invite the people closest to them.
