Oilfied term, for pumping mud down into the hole they just drilled. The mud is treated so it will congeil in the sand and keep the condition of the hole more stable.

I think it's when you inject mud under a slab in order to raise it up after it has settled. They can do this with other materials as well. They make a foam that can be shot under the slab which then expands and raises it.
