i'm a kid born in the 80s and grew up much in the 90s. i would have to say mullets and rattails were the worst i had seen ever. how much worse can the look get? also, in the early part of the decade (2000-2002), black guys who twisted their hair into cornballs. i thought that was the tackiest trend i could never see another person doing again.

mullets are the worst by far! never had one myself, but in the 90s I did have that hairstyle where you shaved one side of your head and left the other side long. ew. I hate myself for that one!

Personally, there's not many styles I wouldn't try. I've had a "mullet" of sorts (sort of like how Kiera Knightly and Scarlett Johansen had), I've had a shaved head, undershaved head with green highlights, I've had a neon-pink pixie, and I'm currently sporting a blue mohawk.

I can't wait to see what hairstyles come up next.

The only style I really could never get into, was the 80's "Big Hair" on girls. It just looks too fluffy, and cumbersome. Mullets on guys, I can't say I like. Nor do I really care for rat-tails either. But the Big Hair is worst, I would NEVER have Big Hair.

And I'm going to shave my head into a topknot next.

I grew up in the 80s and 90s as well so I can truly relate so some horrible styles both in fashion and hair. For me the worst hair tend I had to live through was wearing the fluffy poodle bangs like before I was introduced to the flat iron! LOL! I also hated the 80s black girl asymmetrical cuts like Salt N Pepa were wearing. I never was that bold to do it to myself but I hated seeing it. And I'm surprised that every so often this hairstyle will resurface.

The worst hairstyle I ever lived through was right after my 1st child was born I went to have my hair trimmed and was not paying attention to the stylist and she cut the top of my hair so short it stuck straight up and left the back long. It was awful thank God I had six weeks before I had to go back to work so it was able to grow out some.

Mullets and the 10 foot tall hair that girls wore back in the mid 80's.

Big hair required enough hairspray to be responsible for the hole in the ozone layer.

White chicks with cornrows ala Bo Derek... no, sweetie.

Farrah Fawcet hair that required constant combing and fluffing in public. Yes, I know I just totally gave away my age on that one!

Liberty spikes... my son went through that phase for about 24 hours... he was literally about to poke out someone's eye so they sent him home from school.

And last, but not least, while not a trend thank goodness... someone please stop Donald Trump NOW!

i had butt length hair until i was about 10, which seemed like the worst thing in the world at the time because it was hell to maintain and hurt when my mom brushed it.

then my hair got cut off and i had a few years of boy-looking hair and quasi-mulletts.

i had the poodle perm with the mall bangs.

i think the worst of all, though, has to be the Sun-In orange hair in the summer. sun-in sucks!

when I was 10 yrs old my aunt took my to the beauty shop, had the lady cut my hair into a mullet, and if that wasn't bad enough she put a very tight perm in my hair. I looked like a Poodle!!!!!!!!!

Mullets are the worst, but greasy perms ala Michael Jackson in 1984 is almost as bad. In the same era, I had the big bangs... BIG MISTAKE!!!
