Once your drunk, your drunk. Drinking coffee makes you an alert drunk, and drinking water makes you a drunk that has to keep going to the bathroom. Food slows the absorbtion of alcohol so you can eat starchy foods like bread, bagels, potatoes or my favorite Mac and Cheese... this will slow the rate the alcohol enters the blood stream, but once you reach the limit there is no special cure.

LOL I've read some funny answers on here. Well, drinking water definetely is the best thing, for sure. In fact, the earlier you start drinking water, the better. However, I've heard that it actually stretches out the alchohol in your body, so wouldn't that take longer for it to totally leave the body? Either way, your body needs the water very badly.

Some people eat greasy foods for some reason, but usually that's the day after I think. I sort of wonder if walking or doing some exersize might help move the blood and alchohol thru the body. One friend of mine would always wants to dance, because she said that it helped.

Eat bread, or anything greasy, like a Mcdonalds or something. The grease actually coats your stomack and intestants so that the alcohol that hasnt' gone into your blood stream yet, will have to wait longer to get there. This works mainly before you start drinking, as a way to not get as drunk as fast, however, I'm sure that all the alcohol you put in your body wouldn't be absorbed hopefully yet, so it should help. If it is all absorebed, nothing but time.

Before going to bed to sleep it off...take 2 aspirin and eat a candy bar of choice. Preferably a Snicker or something like that. You need max amount of sugars from caramel and nougat and what not. And no this isn't a joke. When you drink your body goes into almost a diabetic shock...eating the high load of sugar will counter-act this. Taking the aspirin...well, obviously that would be for the inevitable headache.

eat a lot of anything... and drink coffee. the more food you have in your system the longer it will take to get drunk, so i would assume that if you eat a lot when youre drunk it might help you sober??

Drink fruit Juice "Fruit Juice contains a form of sugar called fructose. which helps the body burn alcohol faster." A large glass of orange juice or Tomato juice, in other words will help accelerate removal of the alcohol still in your system the morning after, you can also eat crackers and honey, Honey is a very concentrated source of fructose, and eating a little , is another way to help your body flush out whats over alcoholl remains.

hah, no. Once you're drunk, you gotta go along for the ride. Water, coffee, it doesn't do ****. Only time will get the alcohol out of your system. Water will help you from becoming dehydrated and having a hangover in the morning.

Coffee and water seems to cover the effects of alchol quite a bit but it doesn't take it away. You have to wait 12 to 24 hours before it leaves you body.
