Why don't human beings stop using their God-given free will to hurt and harm each other?
Even the worst sinner is still a beloved child of God's. He will NOT abrogate their free will any more than he will abrogate YOURS.
To do so would make humans His puppets, NOT His children. And He's a Father. Good fathers want their children to be the best them they can be. No father is a better Father than God.
As for "natural" evil, ie, disease, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.; those are the perfectly natural consequences of the Laws of Physics set out by God. THOSE you can blame Him for. But try imagining a universe, a galaxy, a solar system, a planet WITHOUT those laws to govern the actions and interactions of matter and energy. Talk about boring! Nothing would be able to do ANYTHING!
You want that? Fine. Go to the Home Office and file a complaint.

God will end the suffering. You need to read the bible...it's all there. The devil causes the suffering...not god. In the end all true believers and people who are worthy will be in heaven. If you're suffering as bad as it sounds like you are, he's the only person who can help you....and he will if you turn to him and ask. That's all it takes.

We don't have a bastard God. You must be thinking of your own religion. Ask your own bastard god for help.

Before we were human beings, we were spiritual beings. I happen to believe that we're here to learn and to love. However, being imperfect, we must learn those lessons through our spiritual friends. What you may view as horrible, may actually be a glorious sacrifice of a spiritual being in order to make you learn. You've obviously learned. You appear to have a distaste for suffering, so consider those people your spiritual teachers.

Because most of the suffering in the world is caused by us, and so it's up to us to fix it.
Why do you expect God to clean up the messes that WE make?

well maybe its becuase you dont stop being bad...life is like this you know? and we are the ones who start the suffering like example if you got drunk and went home next morning you woke up and then got late for work, got fired and had to pay rent the same day...that is an example of its your own fault not God's.

I'm with you. I've always wondered that myself. If there was a god, why would he allow all the suffering and torture that goes on in this sick world we live in. Makes no sense to me.
