Virus and Adware removal:
Back up all your Documents and work by burning them to a CD.
The first best solution is to System Restore to an earlier date.
The second choice is to do a system recovery using the manufacturers recovery disks.
Hellooooowww forget norton, it sucks.
Then update with these programs: IE7, MS Defender, Yahoo Toolbar
Internet Explorer
http://www.microsoft.com
Windows Defender
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
Yahoo Toolbar with Antispy http://www.yahoo.com search yahoo toolbar
You may want to scan with other antivirus from download.com and then uninstall the program. Some antivirus programs conflict.
There are a few free Antivirus programs. The problem begins because they are a step behind the virus.
PC Tools Free to try http://www.pctools.com/
AVG Free http://downloadfreesoft.com/avg/index1.htm

No, Norton isn't free but some computers come with it, or a trial version. I use AVG free, which can be downloaded from www.grisoft.com, and it works just great.

No, and why would you? Most of the people I know who have it have had it damaged by a virus, ironically. For free get AVG. It is really a great product.

No. thats a "squatters" website and I am sure when Symantec finds out about it, it will be shut down.
Plus norton antivirus is not a free program. If they are distributing it there, then they are distributing it illegally and you are taking it illegally.
