Well... I haven't heard any of those...
but when I had open heart surgery they added 50 thou to my medical bill because the surgeon left his Rolex in my chest cavity.

I have had three surgeries before. Most times patients are completely knocked out so you cant hear anything. Most surgeons and nurses are really kind though. Twice, I was not completely alert but I could still hear them and feel the nurse gently rubbing the forehead to calm me. When one is operating on a patient, one is in much greater concentration stage so any frivolous ideas that may exist before the operation, simply disappear while doing the procedure.

Well the Dr. may have said those things, however I believe I would be under anesthesia and wouldn't hear it. SO the answer is no, I have never heard these during surgery....
