about my question. What would the religious right do if Jesus came back as a dark skinned, female, lesbian. Jesus was dark skinned, honored women and loved all. He/She might just come back as anyone they choose. Some people understood the humor and depth of this question, others just ranted. Your not too Christian if you can't at least consider the possibility

bond adam bond, I too am Christian, white and not a lesbian. If God is all powerful than so is His Son. HE can be anything he wishes to be. The Bible is not a book to be taken literally. It was written by men and men are falible. Jesus only preched Love and look what has been done to His preaching! I do know my
bible.
studied it in fact. It is so easy to take some passages and not others. And look for the books that were not included. The Dead Sea scrolls, The writing of the other apostles. Learn to think for yourself. God gave us all a brain to think

My guess on that is that they would probably crucify him again. His teachings and the agendas of the religious right would clash pretty badly. Not to mention the fact that they wouldn't believe it was him/her anyways.

"Your not too Christian if you can't at least consider the possibility." Your question poses no possibility to consider.
Jesus did have dark skin (sun tanned) but HE is The SON of God. Not the Daughter. Lesbianism was against the Jewish law so how could HE have fulfilled the law if HE was in violation of the same? Your question is asked in ignorance of the truth not in conjunction with it. Your humor and 'so called' depth is not shared by everyone so the answers you get may reflect that difference of belief. Yes, I am a Christian. Yes, My answer is done rudely. Yes, I do have the freedom to reply that way without fear of condemnation.

Jesus was born Jewish and grew up to be a Jewish man. He died a Jewish man and when He resurrected, He was still a Jewish man. He ate with HIs disciples as a resurrected Jewish man (and then walked thru a wall and the food didn't fall out. Pretty sweet). He ascended into heaven as a Jewish man. And He still has a human body and will have one forever. But He's not staying in heaven forever. And I have no reason to think He wouldn't come back as Jewish man. The disciples were told by angels after Jesus ascended into heaven, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11).
Now, that catch is that He's God incarnate. So while He is fully, completely, and totally human, He is also fully, completely, and totally God. Try wrapping your brain around that one.
*EDIT*
Jesus Himself warned of people in the end-times claiming to be Him. "I'm the Christ!" "No, I am!" and so forth. He says they'll "deceive many." If you're not careful and aren't sure what you're looking for, it would be easy to fall for. Your question proves it. Just a heads up.

If the Bible, the only authoritative book of the Christian faith is true, then the Lord Jesus Christ on His return will appear just as the Bible had depicted. As a man! It must be noted that some sexual preferences of today have been mentioned and condemned in the Bible.Unless the Bible is false Jesus will remain what He is.

Arguably, when Jesus rose from the dead he was in what is later refered to as his ressurected, eternal body. Thus when he went in to heaven, he didn't change physically at all, since his spirit and body are perfectly fused, which is what Revelation teaches will happen after the end times when a new Heaven and Earth are created to coexist perfectly, instead of in a rift like they do now. So basically when he does return, he will probably look the same, or nearly the same, as he did to the people when he ascended into heaven.

For starters being gay or a lesbian is an abomination against God! So to answer your question He wouldn't come back as a lesbian female. He will come back just as He left. The Son of God. Try reading your Bible.

1) Jesus was not dark skinned. His earthly body was born from a Hebrew (i.e. Caucasian) mother. It makes no sense to assume a white woman would have a baby of another race in this situation.
2) If a woman (regardless of skin color) claiming to be "Jesus" came back, I would flee from her as far as possible. Jesus will return in male form, the same as He was when he left; He'll also return in the same manner, via a cloud (probably the Shekinah Glory). Here's proof:
Acts 1:9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
The question is not humorous or deep. It is a sad example of "liberal logic," which God hates.

I think to answer your question, you have to ask another question. How can the church profit from this? If the Christian church thought they could make a dime off of it, Jesus returning as a dark skinned lesbian isn't even a stretch of the imagination.

Hey well I didn't read your first question, but I think when you ask a question you have to expect some answers that aren't going to be very helpful and some may not even make any sense. Everyone's just got their own personal way of responding and making sense out of things. Some replies you're going to like, others you're not going to like!

Your questIon is not an R/S plus I don't know of any other question you have asked. So don't generalize. It's not nice to say that others are not christians because they don't agree with you. Freedom of speech! Jesus is of no gender,he is a spirit!
