First of all, fleas on kittens is serious. They can die from them. You have to remember all those fleas are sucking the blood out of your kittens.
They have flea combs you can buy. Get a bucket of water and take them outside and give them a bath. Use the flea comb while they are in the water. Keep using the flea comb in between baths.
As for you and the infestation in your house, They have a laundry booster that I think is called Boraxo, it is in a box. Sprinkle this on your carpets and on your furniture and let it sit for a few hours, then vacuum. Make sure to take the bag out and throw it away outside. The fleas will crawl out if they are still alive.
For the bites, get an anti-itch cream with an antihistamine in it.
If your kittens start to act sleepy, you need to get them to the vet.

Fleas can cause severe anemia in a small kitten if the infestation is bad enough and it could even die from this. At the very least, get a good flea shampoo that is ok to use on kittens, follow the directions on the bottle, treat the areas the kittens have been in with some type of flea spray, and hope for the best. Don't let the kittens outside either, or they'll just pick up more and it'll start all over again. It really sounds like you'll have to have the whole house fumigated. That could be done while the kittens are at the vet clinic if you choose that route. As for your bites, probably calamine lotion or Neosporin? Try not to scratch the bites. Good luck.

The best product is one you get at the vets. Advantage is good. You put it on the back of their neck and it works well if you have fleas in your carpet too. Whenever a flea bites your cat, it will die. You have to use it every month, but it's harmless to your cat and it really works. After about a month, your home and cat will be flea free. Maybe even sooner.

the best way I have found is to wash the kitten ( same way you would bath a dog ) just have the water warm and use a eucalyptus type wool mix like you use for woollen clothing the kittens generally enjoy it if you start doing this when young ..our cats love water that much that we cant use the bath or shower on our own unless we eject them from the bathroom...the wool mix gets rid of the fleas but you may have to do this a few times to get rid of them all..

NEVER USE FLEA PRODUCTS ON SUCH A YOUNG KITTEN you could kill it. the pesticides in the product, especially one over the counter like hartz, can cause neurological damage or death. all you can do is wash the kitten and use a flea comb. wash her bedding and clean the carpets to get rid of the fleas. dont use a flea bomb or other such harsh chemicals around her. good luck

There is an electric flea zapper that works pretty well. Not perfect, but if you can brush them, try this.
Also baking soda, either in a bath, or slightly moist in a paste form will work. Sometimes Aloe does the trick too.
Goodluck!

I would take your kitten to the vet. They have things that you can use on baby kittens, and it won't hurt them. For your bites, I use hydrocortizone cream. It really helps for bug bites, (or in your case, flea bites), rashes, and those kind of things.
Good luck!

Walmart has a very gentle flea shampoo. I used it for my little cat when she came to live with us. Just make sure you dont use to much. And make sure you spray a flea spray on all carpets and cat bedding to prevent her from getting them again.

Get the Kittie to a vet pronto. look for a lost cost provider. will likely need to be "dipped" to rid the fleas. for yourself, get some ointment from walmart/target like cortaid.
