beer before liquor, you'll never be sicker. liquor before beer you're in the clear. it depends on you but with most people yes it is true. if you drink beer first, since it does not have the same alcohol content as liquor you won't get drunk as soon. or at least you won't feel the affects as soon. then when you drink liquor right after or soon after your body still may not feel the full affects of the beer and you'll be tag teaming youself with the the alcohol and get drunk from both at the same time before you realize it was to much.

Beer has a lower % alcohol than liquor, so it takes longer for your system to absorb it.
If you drink Beer first then liquor, it is likely that your system will be absorbing the alcohol from the beer and the liquor simultaneously. That's the reason for the intense sickness and possible blackouts.....the drunkeness hits you like a ton of bricks.

i dont think so, but i can hold down my drinks pretty well. I pretty much always start out with a beer, then a shot, more beer, more shots, then on to my rum and coke(drink of choice) If you dont drink alot then yeah probably is true as beer is lighter then throwing liquor into the mix, of your stomach, could result in bad things.

yes, if you're planning to drink a lot, you should always start with the harder stuff and then step down to the beer. Otherwise, you're in for a rough morning. I think it has something to do with the way our bodies absorb the alcohol.

It is accurate, as you should never really mix your drinks. Start on one and stick to it, and if you can have a few glasses of water in between alcoholic drinks.
