Grey hair if sooo difficult to dye and retain the color. You almost have to go to a professional. But the dark browns and blacks are easiest. Some folks have grey hair as early as 30-35! Blonde hair hides the grey/white hair the easiest, but if you have dark hair now it is going to be rough. Use your grey hair as a fashion statement. Use it to your advantage. I've seen a ton of women that had long grey hair, soft and shiny. Use the Aussie Product called "Knot Forgotten" and a regular shampoo. Aussie "Moist" is a great conditioner. The Know Forgotten will give your hair an INSTANT softness and full of body. Grey hair is classy! So let it show! We'll all get there, some just sooner than others. If you want go to a professional and have it ALL dired grey so you wn't have to worry about bits and pieces. And a good cut, you will be the height of fashion. Grey healthy hair CAN b brautiful, even if you are young! So not worry, be happy, the hair is who YOU are, not the other girls running down the street right? Be Beautiful!

I was 28 and pregnant when I got my 1st grey.So I assume it was hormonal. I have a salon use Wella Color Touch on mine, because I only have a few and it is a 6-8 week color. But let's say you have alot of grey, then I would suggest you cover it with Wella Color Perfect or Wella Koleston Perfect at a salon. This is permanent color that looks more natural than the stuff on the department store shelves. Plus you have the benefit of a pro knowing how to customize and blend the best shade for you.
Oh if you plan on changing colors frequently consult a pro, it gets tricky. A word about hennas- you cannot use a perm or straightening chemical over a henna, and you can't remove henna if you don't like it. you have to let it grow out.

im 25 and i regularly get at least 1 or two grey hairs a week.
I have been dying my hair since i was about 15 and someone
told me once that if you always die your hair, you'll get pre mature
grey hair but thats a load of crap because trust me, almost getting forclosed on twice, losing my job, my car getting reposessed, losing another job and being broke all happening
in the past year and a half will give you grey hair.
Clairol for the most part regardless of the color is pretty dead on
about covering grey hair

The women in my family gray early. I was only 21 when mine started showing. I prefer Ferria or Loreal colors. They leave hair well conditioned. I usually also go one shade darker than my natural color of light brown.
