The sentence is redundant. All you need to really say is "I cooked curry by myself."

'I cooked myself a curry on my own' or, 'I cooked and ate curry by myself' is how I would put it, and I have a first class degree in English (whatever that means).
I would disagree with the person above - saying that you cooked curry by yourself does not make it clear that you were cooking only for yourself - you could cook curry by yourself and then eat it with other people.

No, the sentence isn't redundant.
"I cooked curry by myself" means that you were the only person who cooked.
"I cooked curry for myself" means that the curry was going to be eaten by you.
Therefore, "I cooked curry by myself, and cooked it for myself" means you were the only person who was cooking and eating.

"I cooked curry for myself."
It tells that only one person cooked and for whom. The only way it could be more succinct or shorter is to say:
"I cooked myself a curry."
