Im not sure, because I cant use my NZ phone in Korea (which I can use in Hong Kong and Taiwan), but I have heard.. that you can get sim cards from the airport? Please dont rush there though without ringing them first to check.

You need a CDMA-enabled phone to use in Korea. It is not the same as the GSM. So what you can do is rent a phone when you arrive there and use your sim card in it.

Not possible. Rent a CDMA phone in HK or Korea.

I don't think you can. Korean phones don't use Sim Cards.
