and the reason for my question is that countires have diff frequencies just like u don tknow about MW and SW that exists in asia and Middleeast. You are just happy with AM and FM

Yes they will, however one thing that you will want to check is if the frequencies that the 2 ways run on is allowed in a particular country. Some countries will make it illegal to run products on certain radio frequencies since that they probably run state use products on those frequencies. I would recommend that you contact a tourism department and try to find out what, if any, frequencies are banned.

Yes they will work, but like said you need to know the countries regulations on freqs.

So do you mean MW as in Microwave, and SW as in Shortwave these are frequency ranges and are not modulation types as FM and AM are. Just curious if you can expound on what you mean.

Yes, you don't need a service provider for walkie talkies. It transmits a signal and receives them, as long as they are on the same channel.

Yes if they are FRS (family radio service) than they use their own frequencies and can be used anywhere (including the north pole!)
