Yes, I do believe in love at first sight, but I think it is very unusual.
I definitely believe in sexual attraction at first sight!!!!
I do think that along with the sexual attraction, we can get a sense of what the other person is like.
So - YES!

you have to be careful using the word 'love', our culture encourages us to think of it as a romantic, movie style, happily-ever-after type of feeling.
but in the movies, they never show you what happens after the wedding / romantic kiss / riding off into the sunset. real love is more than just romance, it's about supporting and caring for someone and wanting the best for them, and still doing all these things after you've been together for years and years. after you've seen each other without makeup, without shaving, you've kissed each other with morning breath, probably had sex with your socks on, made life-changing decisions together, that kind of thing.
how can you know all these things at first sight? well, you can't. i think you can be totally attracted to someone at first sight, but that's a clue that maybe you could start dating that person, not that you're in love with them. truly being in love with somone and wanting what's best for that person, supporting him/her and loving him/her regardless, is something that grows over time.

i do not believe in love at first sight. for me, it can never be called love. maybe the person is just attracted to the other person because he/she sees something in him that he/she likes. love needs to grow and is not "instant"... :-)

True, true, true! you just know when that person is exactly what you want. but you can also know some one for a long time and just suddenly realise you love them.

I guess you don't believe it until you feel it. I think it's true as I felt it once, no so long ago. I can't describe it, you have to feel it for yourself
