Brush your hair the opposite way of which it falls(go with the curvature of your head)and dry as you go. When you are almost dry(abuot95%)switch your dryer to cool and finish. The cool air will set the hair in place, which will give you monster lift and body. Note to curly hair -if you use a wide paddle brush, you can straighten as you go.

A classic mistake when blowdrying hair is to start brushing too soon.
Don't do this as brushing any hair style that requires blow drying too soon can ruin the hair style!
Instead, ensure that you wait til the hear is very nearly dry - say around 3/4's dry if you can measure that - before you get the hair brush out and start brushing!

It depends on what style you want. For sraight hair, first you have to dry your hair with a medium or large round brush depending on how long is your hair. Try to blow dry your hair when is damp for better results. Blow dry your hair from the top to the bottom, always keeping the hair down straight. If you suffer from dry hair, use smoothing drops after hair drying for a straight and smooth looking hair. For volume, you do the same as the first instructions but the movements of drying your hair will change. you have to make big circles in the top near the scalp. Focus in the top. Depending how much volume you want for your hair is how far you going to take the brush when you blow dry.

if ur hair is dry, u dont need 2 blowdry it, blowdrying ur hair makes it dry & causes split ends...if u dont have that much volume, get a volume spray & spray it in ur hair before you blow dry it...then while ur blowdryin it put it on cool, so when u blow dry it, it wont make it look dry, or have split ends...brush ur up while u blow dry it...

If you want your hair to have alot of volume, blow-dry with your head upside down. Just hold the dryer about 30cm away from your hair, brush and hold it there until your hair is dry.

We can all sit here and guess how you want your hair to look, but my suggestion would be go to your stylist and have them give you lessons. Most salons will do this, if not find one that will, they will show you what products to use for what you are trying to achieve and how to use them.
www.redken.com for a salon near you and looks you may like.
