I do not think mary was a virgin or having an affair. She and joseph were like what 17. They both could have lied.

I truly believe that the Holy Mary was a virgin.
The Virgin Mary became pregnant through the Holy Spirit. Jesus is not a biological son of Joseph, only the adopted son of Joseph.
It sounds strange, I agree. But for God, everything is possible!!!

God will never lie, do you know why? Because God is Truth, God is light and God is love. All that sums up one thing = love. Out of love you will act in a truthful manner, no lies (little or white lies). God has integrity. He'll never put "do not lie" as a commandment and yet He's the one contradicting or doing exactly the opposite. SEEK THE TRUTH AND TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE. That's all I can say to you. Where there is darkness (Devil) only the Light (Jesus Christ) can shine light to. I hope God's Grace falls upon you cause such things really only comes from the Devil. You may not accept this but God Bless You and I hope you find the light.

Yes, she was. This was required in order to fulfill God's prophecy given in Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel [God with us]."
What some refer to as the "immaculate conception" was acceived by an act of God, performed through the Holy Spirit.
Your unbelief comes from a feeling that you are intellectually superior; there's no shame in that, because you've been mislead by Satan's lies. We are told in 1 Cor. 1:27 (a) that "But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise."
If you are able to acknowledge God as the awsome Creator of the Universe, you will understand that through Him, all things are possible.

Let's say you are right...she wasn't virgin....so what now?
What is the problem of someone being virgin or not?
Does the fact of her not being virgin turn her into another women?
Well if does I am screw because i am not virgin even being considered by most people a good person, even those whom don't sympathize with me, do not consider me a bad person or "whore" because I am not virgin.
What do you think about daughters drug her father with alcohol in order to have sex with him and get pregnant from him? What about that?
PS: By the way women can get pregnant without the intercourse. If the men ejaculates on not in a women's vagina she can actually get regent...If you don't believe go try.

it is not unusual for supernatural phenomena to manifest themselves. there is a lot that science is yet to explain, and it is not impossible that a conception without intercourse can happen. it's just that it doesn't belong to the science we know so far.
having said that, the hebrew word for young girl could have probably been translated to virgin during the first actual translations of the bible. and the church could have hung on to it because of it's miraculous implications.
as for what mary communicated with joseph, that is all speculation today, with history haveen been rewritten so many times by the dominant powers of that time.

A lot of mystery has been created around the birth and death of Jesus. I personally think it has been done specifically to make believe his Holiness.
Hence he could never have indulged in marriage he couldn't have a child. He was not conceived of sperm etc etc.
In Hindu Mythology however there has been reflections of some royal queen having had a son by being impregnated by God.

So the 13 yr. old girl got raped and pregnant, and then pinned it on Joseph.
But the virgin birth is in prophecy, so to keep the "charade" going, she went to Bethlehem to have the baby, fled to Egypt, raised him Nazareth.. all in a slick little scheme to fulfill prophecy AND not being accused of pre-marital sex romp.
There's a lot more prophecy fulfilled that this, -all done by a peasant girl!!
O yeah,.... right!!!

Its called being pregnant by the spirit of God. Do you believe that nothing is impossible with God? If so, then you should be able to answer this and believe!
