Are there foods or drinks to stay away from or include in one's diet to help with irritable bowel syndrome? What about natural supplements, such as those that contribute "good bacteria" to one's digestive system, or help to balance or offset yeast?

Live Bacteria found in Yogurts may help. You can also try Milk Thistle (More for the liver, but has been known to help relieve IBS)

No smoking, cut down on coffee, alcohol, sugar, fats and don't take antacids. Do you have food allergies? This good be the cause. Increase fiber intake.
