You may feel sleepy due to following reasons:
1. Lack of sleep at yesterday night - resolve it by finding out the sufficient time what you need for your sleep
2. Lack of interst with your activity:
Resolve it by understaing the importance and how impactive that event is for ur life
3. Reading/Studying for long Hrs:
You should always take break while studying for long period. If you don't have time then do shake any of ur body part frequently. Since, if you are sitting at same position 4 long time then ur brain stop getting required O2 and you can realize it via yawn. So do take little walk, go for water, chat with ur friendz then come and carry on ur activity
4. Due to body condition:- Consuly a good doctor

A little determination and will power will help. Feeling sleepy at a young age, is quite normal and healthy. Whoever guided you to classify this question under mental health ! That's serious psychiatric stuff, stay away from it. If you want to take medical consultation, a normal good general physician will be able to counsel you right. But don't have to consult a psychiatrist for such a "little normal thing" which may, actually, be a sign of good health ! Change the classification of the question to "others" or something more appropriate. Just a recommendation please.

The underlying cause could, in worst cas senerio be anemia. Try taking a Iron Rich Vitamin. Go to bed a bit earlier, remember to eat a light healthy breakfast. Avoid foods high in fat and loaded with empty calories. Are you taking any meds? Read the lables and acompying packet info. If all else fails, see a doctor.. Good luck.. Life is too short to sleep away.. But... a 20 min. nap can do wonders for you. Bye

If you snore at night that will make you sleepy during the day. There are test to check for this plus many good websites on sleeping disorders.

Maybe you're a night person. Get a night job and then you will be able to sleep as much as you like during the day - with a clear conscience.

Hey Chitra...have tried sleeping in the nite??????
If u do sleep in the nite enough then i suggest u take multi vitamin capsules ...they will work wonders..
Sleepiness usually is a symptom of being general weakness...
U might also as well consider going to a doctor

You may be sitting too long...and have to get up and move around when you feel sleepy. That is how you get your adrenalin pumping. Have a mid morning snack of fruit and drink copious amounts of water.

Make sure you eat healthy food, drink plenty of water and get enough sleep. And make also sure you get enough vitamins and minerals. If necessary, take some supplments.
If you still feel sleepy then, see your doctor about it.

Try going to bed and getting up an hour earlier.Also take a good multi-vitamin.(take it at night,they can make you hungry)♥

espresso does help. i used to nod off for the period of my morning instructions each and every of the time. it were given to the point the position my a million instructor would deliver me on errands and pay me with a espresso from the walk in timmies a pair blocks away
