I just noticed that the inside of my naval is a little wet. It also has a bad smell to it and a little sore. Any clue as to what this could be? I don't really want to go to the doctor if it's something I can fix at home.

I'd bet money that its got some sort of infection. I really don't think you need to go to the dr, at least not right away.
i'd take a cotton ball soaked in alcohol and clean it out once a day. Then make sure you keep it dry, try adding powder. And keep your clothes off it. Don't wear anything that clings or irritates the area. And if you can let it air out.
If it persists for more then about a week, or gets really red and or swollen, i'd go to the dr.

it could be something as simple as thrush,you can get a tablet now that will clear it up straight away,from the pharmasists,if on the other had you have been active sexually,and it dose not clear up straight away,you then need to attened a sexually transmitted disseas clinc,you can remain anominus,and the service is free,normally they are listed in the front of the phone directory.failing this see your doctor at once.

How did you put your finger in your navel? I assume you mean your vulva. This is meant to be wet otherwise you would squeak when you walked.
