yes, it is a science...
but i think it's more proper to say as "astrology" rather than "horoscope"...
it is an ancient wisdom.. astrology can be used to predict/ see tendecies. you can apply it to an individu or apply it to global..
its theory is based on observation.. things that happen in earth has correlation with things happen in the outer galaxy..
as individu, it can give insight of your tendecies, understanding..
Astrology here is more complex than just 12 signs (aries, etc), that is just what we called "sun sign".. we still have moon, mercurius, till pluto sign. located in 12 house.. each planets can interact each other...

Who made up "the story " anyway of what each planet meant what? However a lot of Nostadamuses predictions came true. The Mayan calendar which is 7000 years old is still accurate to date! (search it on the net)So there must be something in sidereal time (moon time), lets face it a womans menstrual cycles are still goverened by it. So how can there be 12 signs when there are 13 annual cycles ??? (see the imbalance?) Pope Gregory actually changed the calendar to the one we have now. There is esorteric (hidden) knowledge and exorteric (open) that cannot be translated using the later calendars. You have to remember that what is "is" and what isn't "isn't" and anything based on assumption or concepts is therefore not a fact, thereby invalidating anything built on it..just like religions; the concept of God, the Devil, Heaven, Hell or Angels have yet to be proven. You can either live in fact or fantasy, not both! So deal with reality before it deals with you or you end up confused and dellusioned. anything that's real, can be touched, smelt, seen, heard all the rest is "mind" and imagination. So learn to seperate the facts from the emotions. instead of mixing them together so you can be right. Then you'll find life works and you wont have dramas or be creating them! And if you know anybody whos come back after death, please let me know as i'd like to meet them. and why do these top intellectuals seek it? "insecurity" because they don't know either. if you ever want Inspiration or direction when you feel lost, use an "oracle" i reccommend the " I ching "(search the net) book published 5000 years ago based on Confucius and Buddhist philosophy (wisdom in a nutshell).

I'm a Scorpio, and my horoscope today was actually quite right. It said I should avoid conflict and such, and I didn't and well... You know. If you're talking about Zodiac signs though, then I'm Scorpio to a T. Certain characteristics aren't completely, entirely right though because of the way I was raised. For example, Scorpios are supposed to have high sex drives, which I do. But at the same time I don't act on those feelings; I'm still a virgin and very, very much proud of it. Everything else seemed to be 100% though. However, I would like to go on record in saying that the Chinese sign of a person can make a significant difference in their general personality. My Chinese sign though is a Monkey, which can be like Scorpio as well as blend perfectly together like a PB 'n J. This might not be so for others though, and if they don't know their Chinese sign, or know much about their Chinese sign, they won't know fo sure if they're like their Zodiac or not. Just thought I'd point this out to help with your project a little. Much luck.

Sure thing, psychology is a science and also mathematics. Checking the ods of someone reading the horoscope and being right is worth your time, like picking your friends' noses. Imagining what may have brought people to believe in horoscopes is also interesting. The brain ahh, the brain.

I think thee is definately something behind it. Im no gypsy but clearly heavenly bodies have an affect on us. Statistics show that more crime is committed during full moons. I dont know how accurate some of these people can be and there are a lot of scam artists like that madam cleo, but i think there is something to this.

hmm i think their MAY be some truth in the horoscope
the horoscope doesn't always fit your style doe
i think some horoscopes are fake because instead of explaining your characteristics they just "predict" how you will feel today
