A true Christian loves all of mankind, and when someone is harmed by another they turn the other cheek.

I am not a pacifist or an idealist. I don't love my enemy, but I can feel sorry for them and try to find out what makes them my enemy and why. In the case of Vietnam the true enemy were the Russians and the Chinese. That's why we can get along and even honor the Vietnamese. Despite being at each others throats I can accept the Russians. It was their leaders and a poor system of government that kept is in virtual war. That has passed and now the door is open so we can be friends (and despite the cooling relations eventually we will be friends).

In the Muslim world extremists are our enemies because they want to destroy anyone who is not Muslim. Seeing how successful the non-Muslim world is must drive them crazy. I can't feel sorry for these people; I can't feel what they feel either, because they deny it. They are jealous of us and I can’t help that. Should I live in a hovel and bath in dirt to make them happy! If they would stop trying to attack us we could deal with them. They refuse to deal with us like civilized people and all they want to do is kill us. How can I accept that and not hate and fear them for it?

if u hate an enemy because of things he did it to u . then try to make excuses for him ,then u will feel that it was destined for things to happen in that way . and with the will and wish u will love ur enemy.

I believe you can love them for what they provide you with. For instance enemys provide you with a release for anger. So love them for giving you someone to take things out on.

to love your enemy is not necessary. if you love your enemy you could be a full of self-guilt. the life is awfull and if you have an enemy you are lucky.

follow pathfinders advice & good luck
it won't be easy, but it is possible

show your enemy that even though you are not @ good terms you care about them & would like to change the
situation. If they are not willing to change then give them some more time.

life's to short, we should care about eachother not hate
eachother for we never know if we will be here tomorrow

If you know Jesus as your Savior, then God put that love in your heart for others. Sometimes its hard when people hurt us and do us wrong, But as a Christian we have to love them, and forgive them in our heart. With God, all things are possible.
