Because people are lazy - very very lazy

..and can't be arsed to use the spell checker. People don't seem to read their answers (or questions) first - before they post them, to make sure they make sense. Which is odd really.

People have not realized yet, that you are more likely to have a positive response to a well written question, than one which you have to unscramble first.

maybe some people type words as how they pronounce it, or they do not use the "check spelling" facility or perhaps what counts to them most is the thought, without focusing on the technicalities of spelling (and grammar, for that matter)

Because people just don't simply believe that everything must be spelled right or put up neatly in today's society.
