You are a fool.
I hear a lot of criticism of the US.
I hear none for the dictators that are holding the world to ransom because they happen to be sitting on a natural resource then spending the profits on warfare.
If the war against Saddam was wrong then why didn't HIS allies from the surrounding nations help defend Iraq.
Because they were glad to see him go that's why.
He was a threat to his neighbours.
He boasted about his prowess in war..
He was trying to buy plutonium on the black market.
This was not a war against Iraq or the Muslims....it was a war against a dictator who murdered anybody who disagreed with him.
The quickest way to get the US out of Iraq is to stop shooting at them, that's bloody obvious.

Yes they have their own government...but government alone as the reality shows aint enough. First you'll need law and order...do you see any in Iraq? And no...it will not end as soon as the Yanks leave. The terrorists already show that they dont really care if the Americans leave as they want the Shiites (or Sunnis or Kurds depending on the particular terrorist) extinct, subservient or gone (most of the victims of the Terrorists belong to the people of Iraq, not the Yanks). The War is wrong...but for the USA to leave Iraq now is like cutting a self-inflicted wound (to the Americans, and a wound for the Iraqis period) and leaving it to be infected. If the Iraqis want the bloody Yanks gone they'll have to show that they can stop these terrorists by themselves and soon. Of course if you want instant civil war with another Islamic theocracy or another Somalia then yes get the Yanks to leave immediately. Thats what happens with these kinds of things...damned if you do and damned if you dont...take your pick

I keep hearing all this bs about oil. Iraq produces less oil now than it did before the war. The oil belongs to Iraq. If you're going to accuse the Americans of stealing oil you're really quite brainwashed and misguided. Where's the proof? That is so shallow-minded. The US will get out of Iraq when Iraq is ready to defend itself against the Iranian and Syrian insurgency. I don't read headlines that the Iraqi government is demanding US troops pull out.
You can bet your last dollar or pound that if there were any hint of that, the libbopress would have it as front page news.

American Forces remain in Iraq in an effort to stabilize the country and ensure democracy has a fighting chance. This is not unprecedented and is necessary in the face of insurgents, terrorists, and enemies of human freedom. American forces will remain as long as it takes for the Iraqi military to be able to stand alone in defense of their country. Regardless of the reason for western involvement in Iraq, every human deserves a chance to be free.

supposedly so that the iraquis have the stability to take care of themselves, what good is a government without the iraqui police and army to back it up, also the government infastructure has to be set up and proved to be working. Also if the troops left now there would be civil war there. I am not saying I agree with the forces being there, I think a lot of talking has to be done before withdrawing of troops, I mean talking by the different factions within Iraq.

Yes they have a government, but their government doesn't have enough soldiers or police to protect their government. The latest news out of Iraq is that their government is overhauling their military and police force to be able to take over protecting their country in a couple more years. If we leave now and leave the government defenseless its just a matter of time before militias swoop in and undo all that's been done.

I think that they're between a rock and a hard place right now. They can't stay because their men are getting killed at an increasingly alarming rate and they can't leave because they won't keep hold of their oil interests in the country if the new government is deposed. So, they've chosen to stay and have their servicemen blown to smithereens protecting their 'right' to cheap (or cheaper than the majority of countries) petrol. Nice to know that some people have their priorities in the right place. Bring the men and women home to their families people!

Yes Iraq does want justice, and we are there to see you have it. We pull out now and you will not like the justice you get. So buck it up, HELP the elected government of Iraq stabilize and grow to achieve peace amongst all citizens of Iraq not just one group. When you can achieve that, we will be glad to get the hell out of there.

I am pretty sure the americans want to go by now - it is a millstone around their neck - however, the Iraq government wants them to stay at the moment because civil war would break out if they left - messy isn't it?

WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU TO COME ON HERE AND TELL AMERICANS TO LEAVE IRAQ?????????
Im tired of hearing people on their soap boxes about "the oil", We are not over there because of the OIL..... There is no way we would benefit from the small amounts they have in comparison to "other" places, so get over it.....
We are there because of JUSTICE, we have taken enough of their ----, coming over here in our country, befriending us, learning our culture, going to our schools, learn to fly our planes, and then turn around and totally stab us in the back, and flying them into buildings, and killing innocent people.
Are we as barbaric as them? Nooooooo, we are a Country of peace & freedom, and they hate us for it, among other things.. If those people stayed in their own countries, we wouldnt have these problems.
So, in conclusion, if those people knew how to act, as decent humans beings, then we wouldnt have to be over there, now would we???
