Yes. It's so embarrasing!! I think if everyone else is clapping then you start to join in, you feel like a tool just standing there!!!

I've received applause, but never clapped along. My mind is usually fixed on being careful not to do anything stupid in front of a crowd of people and so far I've gotten away from it without any major embarrassments.

This is something that annoys me too. Especially on Deal or no deal. They open a box get a blue number and start clapping themselves!!!!!
