I got my resident card last June, but only lived in Canada for 15 days since . I only plan to move next year (Aug. 2007), I did not pay taxes or even filled a declaration, on the internet they said i should have filled a form that I'm living in canada?? any help? is anyone here a lawyer who I can ask/pay for his advise?

no you do not have to pay any taxes unless you actually earn income during your 15 day stay...you are allow to bring your belonging tax exempted from your home country...if you have money ...only the interest that you start earning here in canadian bank are taxable.....

Are you working? I believe you will have to if you are working.
