Siamese cats are quite something aren't they?? Unique. If it's really old fashioned sealer called putty, it may be because it contains an oil which is quite appealing scent-wise.
If it's that modern stuff that gets squeezed out of a toothpaste like tube, then I really don't know.
My Siamese used to sit on the coffee table, wait till I was out of the room and then hook out the tissues, one by one, from the box and shred them with his teeth. He'd carry on 'til the box was empty........
But I wax lyrical.
Have a good day and best seek advice. Cat sick is not pleasant.

You probably have Putty in there - which contains linseed oil! I guess she likes the taste! If she is a house cat - she may do this instead of eating grass - which cats do quite naturally to make themselves sick to relieve furballs - especially during Summer when they moult more and swallow more fur! Mmmm - yummy!

As Cotes du Rho - and the person above me - said, it is probably the scent of linseed (flax-seed) oil in the putty that attracts your kitten. There are products with odor-eating enzymes that digest and remove odors caused by organic sources, and are themselves odorless. Here is one example: http://gallery.bcentral.com/GID4408535P272838-Floor-Care-Products/Carpet-and-Upholstery/Deodorizers/K-OD-032-QT.aspx
It is safe to use on all surfaces. Something to look into if you want to go to the trouble. Good luck.

Sometimes these sealants have a urea compound in them, and cats like the smell!! ALL cats do wierd things; its b ecause they re from another planet!!! Floral disinfectant usually does the trick, as it masks the other smell.

Cats do strange things.I'd figure out some way to keep her out of it-maybe take some to the vet and make sure it did't harm her liver or kidneys.

All Cats make themselves sick because it helps to get rid of furballs, as when they lick themselves clean they also swallow the fur, my cat eats grass to try and get rid of the fur

She probably like the taste or the texture of it. Try putting something on it that she doesnt like.

Probably smells or tastes good, stick some lemons around it and that should put her off.
